TIME IS TICKING FAST

Science is based on research, theory, facts, evidence, logical thinking, and causal relationships but Science is failed to explain about heaven and hell...Mahesa Sidarta

I am not a religious expert and am not a psychic.  I am just an ordinary person with many mistakes and sins but I try to make myself useful for others.  Let me share my writing about the end of the world.

Since the beginning many people have thought about the end of the world.  Thus, the major religions on this planet have explained a complicated perspective on the end of the world.  In Christianity, the Book of Revelation describes Armageddon, the final battle on Earth between the forces of God and Satan.  Hinduism offers a version in which Vishnu returns to combat evil as a figure on a white horse.  The doomsday belief of some ancient religions can still be felt in today's modern secular society.

According to some predictions that predict when and how the signs of doomsday from various religions.  Some argue that the World will end in 1792, while Jehovah's Witnesses classify various years between 1914 and 1994 as the final date.  Recently, some doomsday predictors have focused on 2012. Citing conclusions from a long cycle in the ancient Mayan calendar, certain theorists anticipated that the end of life as we know it on December 21, 2012. These signs will tell us more about the Earth will experience unprecedented catastrophes, ranging from devastating earthquakes, epidemics, droughts, wars, tsunamis and transgender to nuclear reactor crises.  To prepare for these events, we as humans should get closer to God.

The major religions on this planet each have their own beliefs about the end of the world, the victory of good over evil and the Day of Judgment.

The major religions on this planet each have their own beliefs about the end of the world, the victory of good over evil and the Day of Judgment.  In Christianity, the Book of Revelation, the last chapter of the New Testament of the Bible, mentions Armageddon, the final battle on Earth between the forces of God and Satan.  The word Armageddon is thought to originate from the Hebrew word for "mount Megiddo."  Located in present-day Israel, Megiddo, a strategically positioned ancient city, is the site of a number of battles.  Some Christians interpret the Book of Revelation as a road map that explains exactly how the world will end.  They argue that Judgment Day will occur at Armageddon and Jesus will save true believers, while unbelievers who are left behind will face enormous suffering.

In Islam, the end of the world is said to involve the Prophet Isa, sent by Allah to return to earth to kill the demon king who has endangered the planet.  At that time, a Muslim leader (Al-Mahdi) will face the Dajjal who has spread slander among Muslims. The prophet Isa, the son of Mary will come down to earth and clean up all the deviations of religion, and save people from the defamation of the Dajjal  This Dajjal claims to be God.  So,  the Prophet of Isa with Imam Mahdi to eradicate all the enemies of Allah.

In Hinduism, there is a story about Lord Vishnu returning in the last cycle of time when a character named Kulki, who rides a white horse, carries a sword that looks like a comet and destroys evil forces.  In some Buddhist prophecies, the equivalent of Armageddon is Shambhala, where good wins over evil;  however, the planet is restored rather than destroyed so people can pursue enlightenment.

As a writer who has little knowledge and apart from many theories and interpretations of religion, the only thing that is certain about the end of the world is that nobody knows for sure what and when the Day of Judgment will come.  But according to my conclusions from various perspectives of various religions in this world, I draw the conclusion that all religions basically agree in one matter where this apocalypse will be closer based on the symptoms of what has happened in the world today.  It all comes back to us, how we believe it and how we deal with it later. We must keep the FAITH, HOPE, AND LOVE TO GOD.

Education Can't Keep Up With The Fast-Moving World Now

Education Can't Keep Up With The Fast-Moving World Now I stand for a different education: a different education where students will not just learn moral principles, but they shall be living examples of moral principles Written by: Mahesa Sidarta I am just an ordinary English teacher.  I have been teaching English for more than 10 years.  I am often underestimated by great academics because I am considered to be an incompetent teacher and out of the specified teaching path. I am just an ordinary teacher who will probably create the awesome students with my little knowledge in the future. Continuing education at university is a good idea.  You enter, choose a major that you like, learn from experts, and ready to work in the future.  This is why so many people (around 40% in rich countries) decide to go to college, even if it means making huge financial and personal sacrifices.  So many people do, it doesn't mean it's a good thing to do....
